Banyan Group recently announced its newest properties in its portfolio with the openings of Angsana Zhoushan and Homm Wenzhou Nanxijiang in Zhejiang Province in Eastern China, marking its 20th anniversary and approaching its 100th Both properties emphasize local traditions, ecological harmony, and led-sustainable hospitality.

Angsana Zhoushan — Island Vitality and Cultural Immersion

Located in Zhoushan, the “city of a thousand islands,” Angsana Zhoushan sits near Wujian Mountain, Putuo District, and Wuling Wetland Park, overlooking the Thousand Island Coast. With ferry access to Putuo Mountain and Dongji Island, it offers a serene base for nature and local culture.

Inspired by Zhoushan’s maritime heritage, the hotel’s design incorporates textures from fishing nets, knots, feathers, and stone, creating a “boat of dialogue” between nature and the soul. Homm Wenzhou Nanxijiang — A Riverside Home in the Mountains

In Wenzhou, between the Yandang Mountains and Nanxi River, Homm Wenzhou Nanxijiang blends Song Dynasty garden aesthetics with nature. It offers 100 rooms, including 20 family-friendly layouts in a parent–child building.

The hot spring complex features 26 indoor and outdoor pools, including grotto springs and petal pools, surrounded by stone forests and bamboo groves. Inspired by Zhejiang’s endangered scaly-sided merganser, guests receive an origami keepsake symbolizing biodiversity conservation.

Activities include mountain hiking, riverside cycling, lawn stargazing, and seasonal fruit picking. Family programs promote ecological balance through interactive learning.
