
Perched on the 22nd floor of Fairmont Jakarta, the acclaimed The Crown by Kirk Westaway has unveiled The Crown Terrace, a relaxed open-air extension that brings a breath of fresh air to British-inspired dining.
With stunning views of Jakarta’s sunset across the Senayan golf course, the venue invites guests to linger over refined bar bites and a curated drinks list in a casual, convivial setting, ideal for after-work unwinds, weekend indulgence, or special occasions.
“The Crown Terrace marks an exciting evolution for Fairmont Jakarta’s dining scene,” said Carlos Monterde, General Manager. “It blends the culinary artistry of The Crown with the inviting charm of an open-air setting, offering guests a fresh, relaxed way to experience our renowned hospitality.”
The menu draws inspiration from timeless bar favorites, elevated through The Crown’s commitment to quality ingredients and culinary precision. Highlights include the indulgent Crown Burger with USDA Prime Chuck and Comté cheese, the Crown Chicken with Mahkota Sambal, and the nostalgic Fish Finger Sandwich by Head Chef Asa Sibcy. For dessert, the playful Pisang Goreng with salted caramel sauce offers a sweet twist on a local classic.
“I was involved from the first spark of the idea through to perfecting each recipe,” said Chef Asa. “It’s been a true team effort to ensure the Terrace menu reflects The Crown’s identity while offering a more relaxed experience.”
The drinks list is equally compelling. The Curious Chronicles of Winston the Sheep, a British-inspired cocktail collection by mixologist Marek Vojcarcik, features inventive creations like Golden Thread, Whispers in Lavender, and Ghost in the Roast. Premium beers, artisanal coffee and tea, and soft drinks round out the offering.
With capacity for 40–50 guests, the semi-open space combines dining tables and lounge seating, open daily from 6 p.m. until late. Walk-ins are welcome, though reservations are recommended for weekends and events. The venue is also available for private hire, perfect for intimate gatherings or bespoke corporate events.
