“Brushstrokes of Hope” is an art exhibition at ASHTA District 8 featuring 13 female artists and breast cancer survivors.
Breast cancer remains a health issue affecting many women in Indonesia. With the highest number of cancer cases in the country, most are detected at an advanced stage. Yet, early detection can save lives through awareness campaigns, supporting initiatives, and open dialogues. Supporting this, ASRI, with ASHTA District 8 as venue partner, in collaboration with Lovepink and sponsored by Wardah, presents the Brushstrokes of Hope art exhibition, showcasing visual artworks that convey hope, courage, and solidarity for breast cancer survivors and the community. Open to the public, the exhibition runs from September 22 to October 12, 2025, at Melting Pot, ASHTA District 8.
Behind every brushstroke lies hope—for a longer, healthier, and more meaningful life. The exhibition features paintings, sculptures, and mixed media artworks by female artists, young talents, and breast cancer survivors. The 13 Lovepink artists include Anindya Anugrah, Bethania Brigitta, Fiametta Gabriela, Lala Bohang, Michelle Tan, Naela Ali, Prajna Dewantara, Ruth Marbun, Samantha Barbara, Septy Hera, Tusita Mangalani, Wina Li, and Yessiow. This women’s community actively advocates early detection.
During the opening, Leonardo Slatter, Center Experience Senior Manager for ASHTA District 8, emphasized the venue’s role in raising awareness of breast cancer and health among Indonesian women.
Throughout Breast Cancer Month, visitors are encouraged to join #ASHTAWardahPinkPower by Wardah, including Canvas of Courage, Pink Expressions digital competition, and other activations like Voices of Strength talk shows, Pink Screening via Lovepink’s mobile van, and Shop with Purpose, where proceeds support breast cancer awareness and care. Visitors spending Rp750,000 at tenants and pop-ups receive a Rp100,000 ASRI Living voucher and a complimentary pink drink with a Rp300,000 minimum spend.
