In the heart of Bandung’s Dago Pakar hills, Hotel Indigo Bandung is offering more than a place to stay. It’s crafting a movement. This September 2025, the boutique hotel is transforming hospitality into humanity through a series of community driven initiatives that blend creativity, compassion, and sustainability.
Forget the usual hotel perks. At Hotel Indigo Bandung, guests are greeted not only by stylish interiors and panoramic views, but also by a Drop Box Upcycle station in the lobby. In collaboration with Sugar Souvenir, a local eco conscious creative business, the hotel invites visitors to donate textile and plastic waste, which is then reborn as eco friendly souvenirs. It’s a small gesture with big impact, turning trash into treasure while supporting local artisans.
But the spirit of giving doesn’t stop there. In a heartwarming tribute to Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Hotel Indigo Bandung hosted a joyful Picnic Day with children from Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia Bandung. Supported by Namaste Organic, the event was filled with laughter, shared meals, and playful activities. More than just a gathering, it was a celebration of hope, compassion, and the power of togetherness, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
The hotel also partnered with Palang Merah Indonesia PMI Bandung and InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar to organize a blood donation drive, complete with eye and general health checkups. This initiative highlighted not only the importance of physical wellness but also the value of social responsibility.
Through IHG Giving for Good, Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar reaffirms its dedication to sustainability, health, and kindness—strengthening its bond with the local community and inspiring a lifestyle rooted in purpose and care.
