Christian Louboutin’s Women’s Spring/Summer 2026 show was anything but ordinary.
Held at the Dojo Arena in Paris, the Loubi Show transformed a football field into a surreal celebration of art, athleticism, and adolescent nostalgia. Under the visionary direction of David LaChapelle and choreographer Blanca Li, the performance unfolded in five dynamic acts, each echoing the spirit of American homecoming traditions.
From the moment a Parisian model made her whimsical entrance with a lawnmower, the show embraced playful eccentricity. From cheerleaders, baton twirlers to Louboutin’s favorite animal — a seahorse mascot danced across the field, blurring the lines between sport and stage. French singer Milo Thoretton, known as Asphalt, added a romantic flair with three live songs, bridging French elegance and American energy.
The finale was a dazzling tribute to craftsmanship and fantasy. Louboutin’s iconic Ballerina Ultima, reimagined with strass embellishments, took center stage atop a giant cake. This sculptural masterpiece introduced the expanded Cassia line, a collection of ballet-inspired designs that marry grace with boldness. Highlights included the cocoon-like Cassia Annmac, the slipper-soft Cassiasticina, and the Ruben, marking the Cassia debut in men’s footwear.
More than a fashion show, the Loubi Show was a theatrical journey into collective memory. It captured the joy, freedom, and limitless possibility of youth, wrapped in Louboutin’s signature glamour. With its fusion of sport, music, and haute couture, the SS26 presentation redefined what a runway can be. Not just a showcase, but a celebration.
