Held on October 18–19, 2025, at Courtyard Padel Club (Prisma Sports Club, Kebon Jeruk), the USC Alumni Padel Tournament was more than just a weekend of friendly competition—it was a heartfelt celebration of community, camaraderie, and giving back. The event brought together alumni across generations, blending athletic spirit with a meaningful cause: honoring Indonesia’s retired national athletes. The President of USC Alumni Indonesia (AUSCI), Anto Perwata, setting the tone for the event’s deeper purpose stated that the organization believes every success should be accompanied by social responsibility.
As part of their commitment to social impact, the USC Alumni community officially presented a donation to the Indonesian Olympians Association (OIA), an organization dedicated to empowering former national athletes—especially those facing financial and social challenges after their sporting careers. Through this tournament, the AUSCI has created a platform that combines competitive spirit with empathy. The athletes gave their prime years to represent Indonesia, and now it’s the younger generation’s shared duty to ensure their contributions are never forgotten.
The donation will support OIA’s ongoing programs, including medical assistance, financial aid, and skill-building workshops for retired athletes in need. Lingling Agustine, Treasurer of OIA, expressed deep appreciation for the care and generosity shown by the USC Alumni community. This donation will help sustain their programs and serve as a reminder that their sacrifices are remembered and valued.
With a total prize pool of IDR 200 million, including cash and sponsored gifts, the tournament showcased the power of community-driven philanthropy. It strengthened bonds among alumni while spotlighting the importance of sustainable social initiatives. Perwata also emphasized and reinforced the event’s message that sport and compassion can—and should—go hand in hand.
