HARRIS Puri Mansion recently hosted Twilight Wine Tasting, an exclusive evening designed to introduce guests to a curated selection of premium wines.
Held at THE PUB, the hotel’s sports bar and lounge, the event also marked the launch of its refreshed alcoholic beverage menu, crafted to suit a variety of occasions and palates.
Angga Anggoro, Food and Beverage Manager, shared that THE PUB will continue to evolve its offerings through monthly events featuring beverage experts. “Each month, we’ll invite specialists to share insights and elevate the experience,” he noted.
Guests were invited to explore four distinct wine varieties: Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sweet Red. Each wine was selected for its unique character and pairing potential. South African winery expert Gideon Malherbe guided the tasting, offering thoughtful commentary on each pour. His personal favorite, Cabernet Sauvignon, stood out for its bold flavor and smokey aroma.
To complement the tasting, Executive Sous Chef Arif prepared four pairing dishes. Shrimp with Garlic and Guacamole accompanied the Chenin Blanc, while Mushroom and Caramelized Onion Tartlets paired with Pinotage. Hawaiian Ribeye with Red-Bell Pepper was served alongside the Cabernet Sauvignon, and Berries Almond Cheesecake completed the experience with Sweet Red.
As the evening progressed, guests left their seats and took to the dance floor, moving to live music that flowed from pop to hip-hop. The event blended elegance with warmth, creating a memorable night of flavor, rhythm, and connection.
