Koh Yao Yai, Thailand’s last unspoiled island, invites discovery. At its heart, Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas offers dreamlike experiences in pristine natural beauty.
Named one of TIME’s World’s Greatest Places 2025 and among the Top 15 Resorts in Thailand by Conde Nast readers, Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas has redefined the possibilities of the southern Thai escape. Whether you’re seeking tranquility, immersed in the rhythms of nature, or embarking on authentic island life explorations or once-in-a-lifetime adventures on the open sea, Anantara Koh Yao Yai offers experiences unparalleled in luxury, with each detail carefully curated and each moment pure magic.
At Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas, journeys extend seamlessly from land to sea and back again. With its new signature itinerary, guests enjoy two nights in one of its pool villas or one of the stunning two-storey penthouses with views of the horizon dotted with limestone karsts and framed by pure luxury. Days unfold, drifting in the infinity pool and wining and dining under the stars, all details seen to by a villa host.
The next night is spent at sea aboard the resort’s sleek 55-foot My SKY, among the most luxurious of yachts on the Andaman. Manned by a captain, crew, and personal chef, no comfort is spared, and guests’ needs are seen to at any hour.

Allowing exploration in unparalleled style, guests are transported to islands so beautiful they beckon from afar, and hidden coves so undisturbed that baby reef sharks play in their shallows. Travelling further, they can discover even the most remote islands or equally be the first to arrive at the area’s world-famous attractions and enjoy them all to themselves.
Guests set sail in the morning, the sun bright above and the wind in their hair. Stopping at quaint ‘Chicken Island’, they will snorkel with a rainbow of coral fish and, at low tide, when the seas part, seemingly walk across water to neighboring islets.
Legendary Railay Bay is next, with its imposing sheer limestone cliffs and an impossibly beautiful cove accessible only by boat. Swimming back to the yacht in time for sunset, guests will be greeted with gourmet canapes and champagne to toast with. This is followed by a chef’s table dinner served by starlight, with menus to choose from, including classic Thai, contemporary, plant-based molecular gastronomy, or one of the party’s own designs.

The gastronomy continues the next day, as guests are greeted with a gourmet picnic already laid out on a deserted stretch of beach. Then, it is on to the famous Hong Island archipelago, where, being the first to arrive, guests can climb to the viewpoint to take in a spectacular panorama, with mythical surrounding islets draped in jungle rising out of jewel-toned waters. They can also swim in its hidden lagoon, deep emerald and refreshingly cool, before boarding the yacht again for a decadent champagne brunch.
The final stop that day is Monkey Island, where the macaques are notoriously not shy, playing on the beach with visitors before dashing into the waters for a communal swim. Sailing back to the resort’s private pier, guests can then simply relax, enjoying the sunshine on the deck or even indulgent massages fragranced with island coconut oil.

“As proud ambassadors of Thailand’s last unspoiled island and the waters that surround it, we are delighted to launch new experiences that showcase its beauty in unparalleled style”, says Stuart de San Nicolas, General Manager of the resort. “We curate journeys unlike any other, and during their stay with us, guests can revel in the gifts of nature in every moment, returning home renewed and with memories to cherish”.
