As part of the annual global Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign in October, The Westin Jakarta hosted its inspiring Coffee Club: Bloom with Hope event on 31 October 2025.
The launch of the Coffee Club was held at the Champagne Lounge in the hotel’s Sky Lobby, The Westin Jakarta, in collaboration with Mayapada Hospital Jakarta Selatan and Sepercik Tawa. The event featured informative health talks, hands-on creative activities, and a nutritious afternoon tea paired with a signature coffee tasting experience.
The afternoon began with signature coffee tastings by Ari, the in-house barista, serving Westin Kopi Kaya and Scent of Kerinci, followed by an introduction to Coffee Club by The Westin Jakarta. The program continued with insightful talks about the importance of early detection of breast cancer for women and men by four specialist doctors from Mayapada Hospital Jakarta Selatan namely: dr. Bayu Brahma, Sp.B, Subsp. Onk (K), dr. R. Semuel W. Manangka, Sp.Rad(K)RI, dr. Rizky Ifandriani Putri, SpPA, and dr. Marlin Martono Puteri, Sp.B. Guests then participated in a flower arrangement and vase painting class guided by Sepercik Tawa. The event concluded with a pink-themed nutritious afternoon tea by The Westin Jakarta, complimentary health screenings by Mayapada Hospital Jakarta Selatan, and eye check-ups by Mayapada Eye Center.
