Ushering in the Festive month, InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah offers a series of interesting festive events for family and friends under the theme of Unforgettable Celebrations. The hotel introduces an in-house art program in collaboration with internationally renowned jewelry and fashion accessories designer, Rinaldy Yunardi and equally renowned wedding and events decorator, Nefianto Setiono. Both Rinaldy and Nefi will take on the role of Artist-in-Residence for 2022-2023.
Nefi will transform the hotel’s lobby lounge, pop-up Christmas cake shop and Sugar & Spice all day dining into a Christmas wonderland, with a 20-foot Christmas Tree and festoon the spaces with melange of blue, silver and gold inspired by the colors of artworks.
Rinaldy will create a special limited edition ornament which will be included in the hotel’s Festive Royale Hamper. Each Festive Royale Hamper contains the best chocolates, cookies and cakes, and specially designed ornaments by the internationally acclaimed designer.
InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah also offers a wide variety of Christmas-themed gift hampers, a collaboration between the Hotel’s Culinary Team and popular homegrown pastry chef Kim Pangestu. These hampers have been carefully curated to ensure patrons get the ideal gift for their families, friends and colleagues which comes in four types of hampers: Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. These selection of Christmas hampers are available from 1 December 2022 onwards and price starts from IDR 788.000++
On 24th December, there will also be a Christmas Buffet with brunch options (IDR 688,000++ per person) and dinner (IDR 828,000++ per person). On the Christmas Eve Dinner, guests are invited to enjoy a delicious buffet spread and scrumptious pass-around delights. The dinner will feature tantalizing international and Indonesian fare, including sturgeon caviar and foie gras parfait for one of pass around menu, fresh seafood on ice, Japanese selections curated by the hotel’s Japanese Master Chef Hodaka-san, classic oven roasted whole turkey, and various beef carvings such as Beef Wellington, slow braised Mulled wine beef cheeks, and oven roasted prime rib on the bone. To close the dining session, Chef Kim Pangestu has prepared cakes, pastries, and a wide selection of sweets that will allow the perfect ending for your Christmas feast.
On Christmas Day, the hotel also offers an extensive Christmas Day brunch (IDR 828,000++ per person) and Christmas Day dinner (IDR 518,000++) to celebrate the merry occasion with family and friends.
