ARTOTEL GROUP AND UNICEF UNITE TO CHAMPION CHILDREN’S RIGHTS IN INDONESIA

Artotel Group proudly announces its collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF, formalized through a partnership agreement signed on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at The Bimasena in Jakarta.

This milestone reflects Artotel Group’s strong commitment to sustainable business practices and social responsibility, aligning with UNICEF’s mission to ensure every child in Indonesia has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

The partnership focuses on key areas including health, nutrition, education, and child protection. Together, both organizations aim to build a better future for all children in Indonesia, regardless of background or ability.

Eduard Rudolf Pangkerego, Chief Operating Officer of Artotel Group, expressed his appreciation for the collaboration. “This is a meaningful achievement and a proud moment for Artotel Group. Partnering with a United Nations organization follows a direct governance assessment by UNICEF headquarters in New York. We are honored to be the only hospitality company in Indonesia selected for this initiative.”

He emphasized that the partnership reinforces Artotel Group’s sustainability program, The Art of Goodness, which integrates environmental, social, and governance principles across its hotel operations.

Ben Weatherley, Chief of Private Fundraising and Partnerships at UNICEF Indonesia, welcomed the collaboration. “We are pleased to work with Artotel Group, whose leadership in the private sector supports the rights of children. Together, we hope to inspire more companies in Indonesia to invest in the future of children, because every child deserves an equal opportunity to grow and succeed.”

Artotel Group aims to inspire employees, guests, and partners to take small steps toward a larger movement supporting Indonesia’s children. As the World Giving Index ranks Indonesia as the most generous country globally, this spirit of giving is embedded in The Art of Goodness, a commitment to spreading kindness through simple and limitless acts.

Through this collaboration, Artotel Group seeks to make it easier for anyone to contribute voluntarily to UNICEF’s work in Indonesia. Together, Artotel Group and UNICEF are ready to turn this partnership into a symbol of hope and positive impact, using hospitality as a platform to build a better future for Indonesia and its tourism industry.
