Alam Atelier School Jakarta is inviting the public to step into a world where the smallest questions spark the biggest journeys. Its annual Project Work Exhibition, “Where Every Seed Becomes a Story”, showcases the ideas, explorations, and discoveries of children aged six months to six years.
At a time when education is rapidly evolving, Alam Atelier School Jakarta places children’s curiosity and voice at the center. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach, the school views each child as capable, creative, and full of potential. Director Supiani Winata noted that every question a child asks carries a story of growth, and the exhibition makes visible how children think, connect, and express meaning.

Months of observation and collaboration culminate in projects ranging from infants’ first explorations of movement to preschoolers’ investigations of space, community, and sustainability. Along the way, children build relationships, practice social‑emotional learning, and even test water systems through hands‑on experiments. Through installations, documentation, and visual displays, the exhibition offers an authentic glimpse into how early learning unfolds—curiosity taking shape in real time.
Operations Director Maryati Lauw emphasized that the exhibition is not only a reflection of children’s learning but also a shared community experience. She explained that it begins with parents, then opens to a wider audience, sparking conversations about what meaningful learning looks like today—where children are encouraged not simply to answer, but to think, question, and express their understanding of the world.
As global conversations around education highlight the importance of nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence from an early age, Alam Atelier stands as a local reflection of this shift. Media attendees will have access to story‑rich installations, documentation of children’s learning journeys, and opportunities to engage with school leadership, parents, and even the children themselves.
