Where home cooking meets original recipes.
Warm and welcoming with a dash of rustic influence to its interior, Fiddleheads is a new addition to the city’s culinary scene, offering the best ingredients prepared the authentic way and a cozy ambience to boot.
The restaurant serves Western, Asian and Indonesian cuisine, adopting somewhat of a café concept with comfort foods such as steak, burgers, sandwiches and pasta. Patron favorites include the Grilled BBQ Ribs, Crispy Duck, “Kambing” Fried Rice, Chicken & Beef Teriyaki and Hainan Chicken Rice. Mie Aceh, a traditional noodle dish served with thick soup, is also popular among those who have a spicy palate. For dessert, look no further than renowned restaurant Gourmet World’s signature desserts, such as the Banoffee and Toffee Date Pudding.
With a capacity of up to 140 seats and a projector screen, Fiddleheads boasts a spacious dining area perfect for private events, company gatherings and other functions. The smoking and non-smoking areas are separated by a private room that can seat around 10 people – ideal for meetings or simple get-togethers with family. There is also a buffet and high tea menu to complement your events.
The name “Fiddleheads” itself comes from a type of fern commonly used in various Indonesian recipes in Aceh, Medan, Java, Bali and many more. Fiddleheads is still in the process of developing the right cuisines using recipes that incorporate the fern, and has plans to present a more traditional menu in the future.
