Armagnac is the most treasure drink in French firstly made 700 years ago.  Before, only Gascons (people living in France’s Goscon region) and the French royal family can cherish it. The recipe has been well kept as a secret for centuries.  Only in 15th century because of the trade, the recipe started to spread throughout France.

Chabot established its name in the wines and spirits trade in 1828. Based in the rolling hills of Gascony in the village of Labastide d’Armagnac, the family produced the wine necessary to the distillation of Armagnac. For over a century, the finely crafted Armagnac remained a well-kept secret, shared among close friends, Gascon locals and French Nobility. In 1963, Chabot brought Armagnac for the first time outside French, and to the rest of the world.
