Transforming Art into Acts of Meaningful Exchange
ArtMoments Jakarta is back for its highly anticipated edition, set to unfold from 4–7 June at the Agora Ballroom. Long established as one of Southeast Asia’s leading platforms for modern and contemporary art, the fair this year embraces a new theme: “Offerings.” The concept reframes art not as static objects, but as gestures of meaning, dialogue, and connection.
Fair Director and Co‑Founder Sendy Widjaja explained that the theme reflects a shift in the global art landscape, where authenticity and narrative take center stage. ArtMoments, he noted, positions itself as a space where works become conduits for storytelling and human connection—acts of cultural, emotional, intellectual, and even spiritual giving.

Building on past themes of “Renewal” and “Restoration,” this year’s edition moves into a more intentional phase: exploring what the art world offers back after reflection and recovery. The program balances legacy with innovation, featuring ArtMoments Masters to honor influential modern figures, alongside curated exhibitions such as Intimacy of Offerings, which explores deeply personal interpretations of the theme.
The fair also introduces Charity Moments, reinforcing art’s role as a force for social impact. With 75 exhibitors from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and South Korea, ArtMoments creates a vibrant cross‑cultural exchange that situates Southeast Asian art within a broader global conversation.
Visitors will encounter a layered narrative bridging generations—from pioneering Indonesian avant‑garde names like Sudjana Kerton, S. Sudjojono, Mochtar Apin, Gregorius Sidharta, Made Wianta, and Jeihan Sukmantoro, to emerging voices such as Demi Padua and Arifin Neif. The experience expands across diverse media, from the expressive works of the International Watercolor Society to evocative photography by Ted Van der Hulst. Interactive elements, including MobArt’s Kids Section and the launch of Carrot Card Season 2, invite younger audiences to engage with art in accessible, meaningful ways.
Curated by Jeong Ok Jeon, the fair departs from conventional formats, orchestrating a thoughtful dialogue between artworks, programs, and audiences. Anchored by “Offerings,” the experience becomes one of exchange rather than observation.

Hospitality as an Offering
Pan Pacific Jakarta returns as the official hotel partner, interpreting luxury as an act of thoughtful giving. Complex General Manager Alasdair Davidson described the collaboration as a way to connect hospitality with art and cultural heritage, presenting experiences that go beyond accommodation.
The hotel hosted an exclusive media dinner at Eden Bar and the ArtFace Welcoming Dinner at Keyaki Japanese Restaurant, both on Level 90. Guests were taken on a curated culinary journey inspired by the exhibition—beginning with a bespoke welcome drink, followed by a composed set menu, and culminating in a dessert art performance designed to engage the senses. Exclusive stay packages at Pan Pacific Jakarta and PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Jakarta extend the immersion, seamlessly linking hospitality with the art fair.

With its 2026 edition, ArtMoments Jakarta evolves beyond a traditional art fair into a cultural platform that fosters connection, dialogue, and shared experience. By positioning art as an offering—cultural, emotional, or intellectual—the fair reflects the growing desire for deeper meaning in both art and life.
As Jakarta strengthens its role as a regional cultural hub, ArtMoments Jakarta 2026 stands as a testament to the city’s creative energy, where art is not only seen, but felt, shared, and experienced.
