Introducing traces of Islam in Spain, in the month of Ramadan this year, Mare Nostrum Jakarta in collaboration with Michelin Chefs from Barcelona, Eduard Xatruch, Oriol Castro and Mateu Casañas, presents a special Al-Andalus menu, called Ramadan Delicacies.

The Ramadan Delicacies menu consists of various dishes such as Tempura Dates, Carpaccio, Parmesan and Foie Gras, Lamb, Couscous, Almonds and Spices and Almond Ice Cream, Black Truffle and Bee Pollen.

‘Tempura Dates’, deep fried dates with honey and orange blossom – a special amuse bouche will be served during the whole month of Ramadan to Mare Nostrum dining guests.
Special ta’jil ‘Tangerine Tea’, a Moroccan mint tea and tangerine foam will also be served during Iftar Ramadan to Mare Nostrum dining guests during Iftar dinner.

As for starters guests can have ‘Carpaccio, Parmesan and Foie Gras’. Roasted sliced tenderloin with foie gras, parmesan, pine nuts, basil and chives. This special Ramadan menu sells at a price IDR 280,000++ for 2 guests. 
 
On the main course guests can enjoy ‘Lamb, Couscous, Almonds and Spices’. It’s Lamb loin with couscous, dates, almonds, saffron, honey and ras el hanout. This special Ramadan menu sells at a price IDR 320,000++ for 2 guests. 
 

For the dessert to complement the full Iftar dinner, guests can try ‘Almond Ice Cream, Black Truffle and Bee Pollen’. A homemade Almond Ice Cream with black truffle paste, caramel pine nuts, almond chunks and bee pollen, available at price of IDR 95,000++.
