THE HOTEL PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSOCIATION OF SURABAYA (H3 SURABAYA), TOGETHER WITH THE INDONESIAN PHOTOJOURNALISTS ASSOCIATION, ORGANIZED A STREET PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP IN THE HISTORICAL AREA OF OLD TOWN SURABAYA.

With the aim of enhancing the visual abilities of hotel public relations professionals in Surabaya, the Surabaya Hotel Public Relations Association collaborated with the Indonesian Photojournalist Association to host an exclusive street photography training session under the H3 Jalan-Jalan program. The event took place on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 14.00 to 17.00 WIB, at Hotel Arcadia by Horison, a renowned historical landmark in Surabaya.

This training provides not only techniques or methods to maximize the use of a mobile phone camera for street photography, but also takes participants on a journey to explore the charm of European buildings in the Old Town of Surabaya.

Following the street photography activity, the Public Relations team of Hotel Surabaya was invited to appreciate various European architectural buildings once again using a tourwagen, adding an exclusive and comfortable touch for the participants, allowing them to enjoy every detail of the beauty of Surabaya’s Old Town

Suryanto Putramuji, as the chairman of the Indonesian Photographers Association in Surabaya, provided practical guidance, tips, and tricks for optimizing mobile phone cameras to the participants. Against the captivating backdrop of Surabaya’s Old Town, hotel public relations representatives were invited to capture moments that blend the beauty of history with the vibrant life of the city.

The Chairman of the Surabaya Hotel Public Relations Association, Kus Andi, expressed his hopes that this collaboration will improve the photography skills of PR practitioners. The H3 Jalan-Jalan program represents a groundbreaking opportunity for members to gain direct experience, which can subsequently serve as informative material about Surabaya’s city attractions for hotel guests.

H3 Jalan-Jalan is a program designed to promote tourism in the city of Surabaya. Initially focusing on the popular old town of Surabaya, this initiative is set to be conducted on a regular basis to review numerous other captivating tourist sites in the area.
