In the spirit of Ramadhan, V-Soy World Indonesia in collaboration with YoRipe presented a culinary demonstration at an eatery in Central Jakarta, doubling as an Iftar gathering for V-Soy enthusiasts. The event acted as a sequel to V-Soy’s endorsement by AloChoice as a health-conscious and hygienic soy product. Crafted from premium soybeans and free from synthetic additives, the brand ensures the quality of its products through sterile bottling and UHT-treated cardboard packaging, validated by ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 certifications. Evlin Wangsadirdja, V-Soy’s Brand Manager in Indonesia, expressed her aspiration for consumers to incorporate V-Soy into their everyday culinary creations, aligning with the brand’s promise of ‘Ready V-Soy’ for any occasion.

The cooking demo was hosted by Chef Resky who, on the occasion, introduced 3 popular iftar dishes using V-Soy as the main ingredient. The dishes featured usually use dairy and coconut milk and the usage of V-Soy as the replacement will benefit the lactose intolerants, vegans and vegetarians as well as the health conscious individuals who are in dire need to reduce their fat and cholesterol intake. Another benefit for using V-Soy as opposed to coconut milk is that coconut milk breaks during simmering if not stirred. V-Soy Low Sugar can be used as the base for sauce or soup and be applied to dishes such as Creamy Pasta, Stew, or Shrimp Laksa which is featured in the event. Along with the Laksa, Wedang Angsle (a ginger flavored drink from Malang, East Java) which used VSoy Original and Boba Choco Drink using VSoy Cocoa were also featured in the cooking demo.

V-Soy’s partner of the day, YoRipe, serves as a culinary platform where a vibrant community of domestic chefs from Indonesia and Southeast Asia can exchange recipes and fulfill their everyday grocery requirements. It’s a space where cooking transcends mere food preparation, embodying the warmth and affection for family and friends. With YoRipe, more than 50,000 home cooks have found a place to share their culinary secrets and find inspiration. The app is available for download on both Google Play and the App Store.
