Nuanu Creative City invites art enthusiasts to explore two concurrent exhibitions running at Labyrinth Art Gallery from 18 July to 18 August 2026. Developed through a collaboration between the Bali-based Ruang Fungsi and the Yogyakarta-rooted Pando Art Collective, the exhibition brings together 17 contemporary artists whose practices span across various mediums: painting, installation, and mixed media.

As a platform that fosters creativity and cultural exchange, we are excited to see the conversations, collaborations, and new experiences that will emerge from these encounters—for both our visitors and the community that is part of Nuanu,” said Lev Kroll, CEO of Nuanu Creative City.
Founded in Yogyakarta, Pando Art Collective supports the development of emerging contemporary artists through exhibitions and collaborative initiatives. Curated by Samuel David, Lucid Dreams explores the fluid interplay between imagination, memory, and the subconscious. The exhibition takes visitors into a surreal visual world shaped by symbolism, intuition, and personal experience. Featuring artworks by Faisal Siddiq, Afiq Andico, Arif Fiyanto, Rifqi Soenandar, Aly Waffa, Ari Wuryanto, and Ijal Mariachi.
Meanwhile, the Bali-based independent art collective Ruang Fungsi with Repetisi Memori views memory as something constantly reconstructed through life experiences, places, and time. Through artist-driven exhibitions and various collaborative programs, Ruang Fungsi is known as an art space that fosters experimentation within the growth of contemporary art in Bali, here showcasing artworks by Denny Novikar, Sirin Farid Stevy, Surya Subratha, Ade Habibie, Andre Yoga, Ichi Dilaga, Aharimu, Sastia Naresvari, Naomi Samara, and Natasha Lubis.
“The emerging independent collectives in Indonesia produce compelling artworks and programs. Through Labyrinth, we aim to create opportunities for these communities to showcase the artists in Bali and introduce them to new audiences. This marks the beginning of future collaborations,” said Kelsang Dolma, Director of Special Art Projects at Nuanu Creative City.

Bringing our artists to Nuanu is our way of extending Pando’s roots beyond the Indonesian archipelago, reaching new spaces and audiences.
