Most boys have read comic books at certain points of their lives. A lot still do even as they grow older, still fascinated as ever by the illustrated panels, charming characters and witty dialogues. Now, a new story has come to light of a glamorous policewoman who chases a mysterious criminal. This story is told through pieces of fun tiles from the Ceratec collection called POP. The name couldn’t be more fitting due to many reasons: they’re inspired by the works of pop art artist Roy Lichtenstein, they have bold colors, and they’re simply pop through the “walls” of conventional tile patterns.

To recount this exciting adventure of facial close-ups, cult symbols and explosive exclamations, there are 12 different illustrated tiles alternate with a solid color palette of 10 bright colors that take roots in the 50s and remain as fresh as ever. Apart from the normal smooth surface, the tiles are available in 4 original textures which are also an ode to the world of pop art. These tiles are perfect for a backsplash in the kitchen, a lively bathroom, or even a feature wall on your living room.

Roy Lichtenstein became a leading figure in the new art movement of the 60s along with Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, and James Rosenquist. Heavily influenced by comic strips and popular advertisings, his works were famous for their precise compositions and humorous manner. The POP collection embraces his artistic views while allowing your obsession with comic books to take the spotlight instead of being tucked away as a guilty pleasure.
