In collaboration with the Indonesian Embassy in Bern and supported by the Indonesian Ambassador to Switzerland, Mrs. Linggawati Hakim and Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs Mr Hendra Halim, the Indonesia Display Warehouse is planned to be held in Basel, the third busiest city in Switzerland.

The Indonesia Display Warehouse will be a showcase for Indonesia’s superior products for a more extended time. Basel was selected for its strategic position, bordering with France and Germany; thus targeting market from the three countries at the same time.

This warehouse will also function as a sales point and to accommodate not only the “business to business” relationship, but also business to customers.

“We will implement some strategies with the assistance of the Embassy and the Indonesian trade attaches and chambers of commerce  from the neighboring European countries;  We will participate in some other exhibition events, invite the diaspora communities in Europe, as well as presenting directly to potential buyers or partners,” explained Juliana Pateh, President Director of the Indonesia Display Project.

From 2010 until the beginning of 2016, the Indonesian Display team has been involved in more than 50 trade shows, international events, bazaars, and fashion shows in more than 15 countries.

All the activities are facilitated and supported by the related banks and government institutions, including ITPC, The Indonesian Consulate, The Indonesian Embassy and the Creative Economy Body of Indonesia), and five media partners.

This upcoming warehouse concept will be a breakthrough in facilitating Indonesian entrepreneurs to explore new potential of its global markets, in a more sustainable way, “said Indonesian Display’s Director of Operations, J.Mahameru

To be displayed in the exhibition are home interior product, compact furniture, batik, weavings, handicraft, ready to wear, muslim fashion items, food, spices, organic products, leather goods, spa and skin care.
