Within the tranquil grounds of Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills Resort Spa & Convention and offering a dining experience inspired by the grace of flowing water, the Jade River Chinese Restaurant has opened its doors. It is the first premium Chinese restaurant of its kind in the city and has been designed to bring people together with an emphasis on flavour, artistry, and celebration.
Walking into Jade River feels like stepping into a world of calm sophistication, where interiors layered with warm wood, golden accents, and soft lighting create a sense of balance and prosperity. It is a space that invites guests to linger, whether for a family gathering, a celebration, or a leisurely meal framed by the serene mountains.
The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Rosi Hendriyanto alongside Chinese Cuisine Chef Badrus, who bring a thoughtful approach to every dish. Their menu highlights the artistry of Chinese cooking while embracing inclusivity, with recipes prepared without pork or lard. Diners can expect creations such as the Stuffed Crispy Ball Mentaiko Shrimp Salad, Double-Boiled Sea Cucumber with Fish Maw, and Braised Eight-Head Abalone in Golden Abalone Sauce. Each plate is presented with precision, balancing texture and flavour in ways that feel both familiar and elevated.
Drinks extend the experience, with Jade River Garden blending green apple, cucumber, bok choy, celery, lemon juice, and honey into a beverage that is bright and restorative, while Golden Chrysant Cordial and Mandarin Sunrise add floral and fruity notes that echo the vitality of the setting.
