Prominent designer in the Indonesian modest fashion scene, KURSIENKARZAI unveils its Raya series collection, SVARA, a blend of the beauty of modern fashion inspired by the spiritual and cultural tapestry of Balinese women. In every piece of fabric, SVARA conveys more than just aesthetics; it also speaks to the soul.
An Indonesian fashion designer rooted in local philosophy but conveying a global narrative, KURSIENKARZA highlights themes of culture, spirituality, and the power of women, in which each collection is designed as a living work of art, as well as a medium for expression and strengthening identity.

Specializing in creating elegant and classy designs with a timeless elegance. Using materials such as organza, satin, and tulle, the collection features the following:
When Songs Become Fashion
Inspired by the Sanskrit word “Svara,” meaning sound, tone, or vibration of the soul, this collection touches on the spirituality and serenity that are at the heart of life on the Island of the Gods. It was born from a deep appreciation for sacred songs, the strains of gamelan music, and the harmony embedded in Balinese daily life—from the morning Canang Sari offering ritual to the meaningful steps taken during traditional ceremonies.
Balinese Women: A Source of Strength and Inspiration
The SVARA collection honors Balinese women, who live in harmony between spirituality and aesthetics. They are guardians of tradition, silent poets who express their feelings through movement, color, and traditional weaving. In SVARA, women don’t just dress up; they tell stories. They don’t just wear fabric—they make their voices heard.

Tradition Meets Contemporary Silhouettes
SVARA presents silhouettes that are modern yet imbued with meaning. Loose, flowing cuts, earth and sky colors, motifs inspired by natural elements and sacred Balinese symbols in sophisticated silhouettes. The collection also features subtle details such as embroidery resembling Balinese script, layering that depicts layers of meaning in ceremonies, and soft textures like the flow of Tirta (holy water) that purifies the body and soul.
