
Red Night is a fresh and exciting new concept featured at Satoo Restaurant, Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, where every Thursday night, the restaurant will be adorned in red, symbolizing the color of passion; from red napkins to red staff uniform, and even to most of the food at the buffet stations are made of ingredients in shades of red.
The highlight in every Red Night is the parade of fresh seafood presented next to the sashimi counter. Guests can enjoy tasty treats from under the sea including tiger prawns, fresh pacific oysters, mussels, swimmer crabs, yabbies’ (small Australian crayfish) and white clams; all served with options of red sauces.
Satoo also brings delectable Indonesian flavours to the red-themed dishes line-up including Chicken in Rica-Rica Sauce, “Merah” Sweet and Sour Fish and Red Jackfruit Curry. The international selection features Shrimp Bisque, Singaporean Chilli Crab and Szechuan-Style Beef, among others.
Every Red Night, SATOO invites guests to dine wearing a touch of red to receive a complimentary signature cocktail or mocktail. To top it off, for every gentleman who proposes their loved one during Red Night—pre-announced during reservation—will receive 50 per cent off the couple’s bill (excluding alcohol), a complimentary cake and a rose to celebrate the true meaning of affection!
