Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta has announced a key strategic partnership with International SOS, a leading global medical company that operates in some 90 countries and which is led by more than 5,000 healthcare professionals. This is a first for Indonesia. The partnership will mean guests have access to an on-site clinic and 24/7 access to the company’s Assistance Centre. A paramedic will also be placed in the hotel around the clock should any emergency arise. This alignment will add value through ensuring that hotel guests can get the very best best medical care should they need it when in Jakarta. Guests can speak to doctors on call (via phone) who speak their language at any time to discuss their symptoms in their mother tongue.
“We all know that even with the most careful planning and effort, travellers can and do fall ill or have other medical needs—some of them urgent—that require attention,” said Alex Pichel, General Manager of Hotel Indonesia Kempinski. “With this service, we can give them reassurance that should any emergency arise, they will have access to doctors who can speak their own language.”
