Novotel Jakarta Mangga Dua Square has officially opened their latest MICE facility: Wakatobi Ballroom, which makes it the third ballroom within the property. The new ballroom marks a strategic milestone in strengthening the hotel’s position as one of the leading MICE and event destinations in the area.

As the name implies, the ballroom uses Wakatobi as source of inspiration, embracing a design concept that reflects Indonesia’s underwater paradise. The name was also chosen to represent the archipelago’s beauty and cultural diversity which serves as the ballroom’s core identity. With that in mind, Novotel Jakarta Mangga Dua Square aims to deliver more than just an event venue, but a destination where guests can create unforgettable experiences and meaningful connections.

Spanning 599 square meters, the Wakatobi Ballroom can host up to 400 guests in theatre-style seating, 280 guests for banquet functions, 200 guests in classroom configuration, and 500 guests for cocktail receptions and networking events.

Complementing the main ballroom is Buton Meeting Room, a dedicated VIP meeting space that can be utilized separately or configured according to event requirements. The room serves as an ideal venue for executive meetings, breakout sessions, speaker preparation areas, bridal rooms, or other supporting functions, providing additional flexibility for event organizers.
