
Nusantara Food & Hotel (NFH) Expo 2026 officially opens and will run until 12 July 2026 at Hall 3, Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang. Carrying the tagline “Tap Into Indonesia’s Finest Delicacies,” the exhibition seeks to tap into Indonesia’s growing food, beverage, and hospitality industry, by presenting a dynamic business platform that brings together manufacturers, distributors, business owners, industry professionals.
The official opening ceremony was inaugurated by Ni Luh Puspa, Vice Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, accompanied by representatives from related ministries, supporting industry associations, and the organizer. Among those attending the ceremony were Gusti Laksamana, Secretary General of the Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia (SCAI); Minerva Taran, Chairwoman of the Indonesian Catering Association (PPJI); Rafael Triloko Basanto, President of the Association of Culinary Professionals (ACP) Indonesia; Louis Tanuhadi, President of the Indonesian Pastry Bakery Society (IPBS); and Rafidi Iqra Muhammad, Director of PT Debindo Global Expo.
In his opening remarks, Rafidi Iqra Muhammad, Director of PT Debindo Global Expo, stated that NFH Expo 2026 reflects Debindo’s commitment to supporting the sustainable growth of Indonesia’s food, beverage, and hospitality industries through innovation while embracing the country’s rich natural resources and culinary heritage. He emphasized that NFH Expo serves as a strategic platform connecting industry players, associations, communities, government institutions, and business partners to expand networks, accelerate innovation, and strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia’s HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, and Café) sector.
In the same occasion, Gusti Laksamana, Secretary General of the Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia (SCAI), emphasized that the strength of the industry is not built by a single sector alone, but through the synergy between the food, beverage, hospitality, and coffee industries, all of which are interconnected in creating meaningful consumer experiences while generating broader economic opportunities. As part of this collaborative ecosystem, SCAI once again presents the Indonesia Brewers Championship (IBrC) – Western Region at NFH Expo 2026 as a platform to nurture professional brewers and strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee in both domestic and international markets.
Minerva Taran, Chairwoman of the Indonesian Catering Association (PPJI), stated that NFH Expo serves as a platform for catering professionals to expand their networks, exchange knowledge, and enhance industry service standards. As part of its commitment to advancing Indonesia’s catering sector, PPJI once again collaborates in presenting the Nusantara Culinary Challenge, a competition designed to develop professional talent while elevating competency standards across the catering industry.
Meanwhile, Rafael Triloko Basanto, President of the Association of Culinary Professionals (ACP) Indonesia, highlighted that innovation and professionalism are fundamental to strengthening the competitiveness of Indonesian cuisine. In collaboration with PT Debindo Global Expo and the Indonesian Catering Association (PPJI), ACP once again presents the Nusantara Culinary Challenge (NCC) as a platform to celebrate Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage, inspire new innovations, and enhance the global competitiveness of Indonesian cuisine.
Concluding the series of opening remarks, Ni Luh Puspa, Vice Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, expressed her appreciation for the organization of Nusantara Food & Hotel (NFH) Expo 2026, describing it as an outstanding initiative that brings together stakeholders from across the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. She expressed her hope that the exhibition would create meaningful opportunities that contribute to industry growth while strengthening Indonesia’s tourism ecosystem through the continued development of high-quality culinary and hospitality sectors.
Over the next four days, NFH Expo 2026 presents a comprehensive range of products and solutions, including food and beverage ingredients, professional kitchen equipment, food processing technology, hotel and restaurant supplies, and the latest operational support systems. The exhibition also provides a strategic meeting point for brands, suppliers, buyers, investors, and business professionals from across Indonesia and abroad to establish sustainable business partnerships.
This year’s edition features hundreds of leading brands and companies representing food and beverage products, bakery and pastry, coffee, professional kitchen equipment, food processing technology, hotel supplies, and hospitality solutions. Prominent participating brands include GEA GETRA, GASTRO, Barco, Lee Kum Kee, Tofico, and Sango, alongside hundreds of other exhibitors showcasing innovative solutions for the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. As one of this year’s new highlights, NFH Expo 2026 features the Jalur Rempah (Spice Route) educational installation, developed in collaboration with Yayasan Negeri Rempah and supported by PT Trio Jaya Steel. The installation invites visitors to explore the remarkable journey of Indonesia’s spices, which have long served as the foundation of the nation’s culinary heritage and played a significant role in the history of global trade. Through a diverse collection of spices sourced from various regions across Indonesia, visitors can gain deeper insights into their origins, unique characteristics, and enduring role as a cultural heritage that continues to inspire the country’s culinary industry.
Beyond the exhibition itself, NFH Expo 2026 features a wide range of supporting programs designed to enrich the visitor experience. One of the key highlights is the Nusantara Culinary Challenge, organized in collaboration with PPJI and ACP Indonesia, providing a competitive platform for professional chefs to demonstrate their creativity and expertise across various competition categories.
In the coffee sector, the Indonesia Brewers Championship (IBrC) – Western Region, organized by SCAI, returns as one of the country’s most prestigious coffee competitions, where brewers showcase their manual brewing skills while competing for a place in the national championship.
The exhibition also offers an extensive lineup of cooking demonstrations, workshops, business talk shows, product launches, and inspirational sharing sessions featuring chefs, industry practitioners, and business leaders.
