The Delegation of the European Union (EU) recently launched EU Social DigiThon 2021 competition, themed “Tackling Cyberbullying Towards Children”. This competition is the 2nd collaboration with Indonesia Internet of Things Association (ASIOTI), Indonesian Cybercrime Combat Center (IC4), Yayasan Semai Jiwa Amini (SEJIWA), and Indonesian Association of Clinical Psychologists (IPK Indonesia). As the previous year, EU Social DigiThon has successfully encouraged the Indonesian young innovators to develop creative solutions technology based to help address bullying issues digitally among children. Whereas found in many cases of cyberbullying in Indonesia become the main issues affecting negative impact on a child's well-being.
This year Social DigiThon is held as part of a series of events EU4HumanRights in commemoration of Human Rights Day 2021. The competition is open from 24 September to 29 October 2021 for high school students, vocational schools, polytechnics university students, coding school students, members of the technology community, program developers, startup companies and technology-based business incubators, both individually or in groups.
