Singapore remains a leading international destination for Indonesian travelers. As recorded, Indonesians are the second-largest source of tourists to Singapore, contributing 2.4 million visitors in 2025. Whereas in Q2 2026 already reached 1.1 million visitors. On 21 July 2026, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and TransNusa formalized a one-year strategic partnership in Jakarta. The collaboration includes special flight rates and new fly-cruise packages, aiming to make Singapore more accessible and attractive, especially for Indonesian young professionals and families.
The special flight rates are designed to reduce travel costs and encourage more Indonesian travelers to consider Singapore. The fly-cruise promotion offers a new travel option, combining a city holiday with a multi-day cruise in a single, seamlessly packaged journey.

“Singapore continues to be a top-of-mind destination for Indonesian travelers, and this partnership with TransNusa reflects our commitment to making that journey easier and more rewarding. With special rates and the new fly-cruise offering, we want Indonesian travelers — whether young professionals looking for a quick getaway or families planning their next holiday — to see Singapore as a destination that is closer, more accessible, and full of possibilities,” said Terrence Voon, Executive Director, Southeast Asia, Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
The partnership comes at a time of significant growth for TransNusa, which has been steadily scaling up its flight frequencies to Singapore from both Jakarta and Denpasar. The airline currently operates three daily flights from Jakarta to Singapore and two daily flights from Denpasar to Singapore, with plans to expand its services further by the end of the year. Moreover, TransNusa recently won Top Airlines by Absolute Passenger Growth – Southeast Asia in the Changi Airline Awards 2026.
“TransNusa is proud to deepen our partnership with STB at a time when we are actively scaling up our network. The special flight rates and fly-cruise promotion are a natural extension of our commitment to delivering value to our passengers — making Singapore not just reachable, but truly worth the journey. Increasing our Jakarta–Singapore flights to three times daily and our Denpasar–Singapore flights to two times daily service further reflects the strong and growing demand for this exciting, high-value destination within reach of Indonesian travelers,” said Datuk Bernard Francis, Group Chief Executive Director, TransNusa Aviation.
“Additionally, passengers can benefit from the 30 kg baggage allowance in the Flexi Pro fare class, good time flights for you to choose, and arrive and depart from Terminal 2 Changi Airport,” added Datuk.
TransNusa’s expansion of services to Singapore reflects the city-state’s broad and enduring appeal to Indonesian travelers. For young professionals, Singapore offers a compelling mix of world-class retail, dining, and entertainment, complemented by a packed calendar of marquee international events. Highlights include the Formula 1 Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) from 2 to 11 October 2026 alongside an expansive music lineup, and BTS concerts on 17, 19, 20 & 22 December 2026 as part of the group’s global world tour.

For families, Singapore’s extensive halal-certified dining options and family-friendly infrastructure make it a natural and reassuring destination. This reputation was further affirmed at the Mastercard-Crescent Rating Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI) 2026, where Singapore was recognized as Top Muslim-friendly Destination of the Year (Non-OIC), Accessible Muslim-friendly Destination of the Year, and Muslim Women-friendly Destination of the Year. New attractions such as the Singapore Oceanarium and Exploria at Mandai Wildlife Reserve further strengthen Singapore’s offering for families travelling with children.
Furthermore, the fly-cruise promotion brings together TransNusa’s expanding flight network with Singapore’s standing as Southeast Asia’s leading cruise hub. Through this offering, Indonesian travelers will have access to a curated selection of cruise experiences departing from Singapore, including Disney Adventure by Disney Cruise Line, Genting Dream by Star Dream Cruises, Navigator of the Seas by Royal Caribbean International, and Royal Princess by Princess Cruises.
Through special fares and a new fly-cruise proposition, the partnership between STB and TransNusa marks a significant step forward in strengthening travel ties between Indonesia and Singapore.
