The 29th GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) was successfully held from 11-21 August 2022 at International Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City. The auto showgarnered over 330,000 visitors during its 10 days of implementation and featured 25 major car, bus and truck brands, 14 two-wheeled vehicle brands, as well as a number of other exhibitors such as motorbike helmet manufacturers, automotive accessories distributors, custom workshops, insurance companies and others.
This year, green electric vehicles became the stars of the show that the organizer dedicated an entire exhibition hall for test drive purposes. Another interesting major theme that came up in GIIAS is the motorhome exhibitors which displayed customized vehicles from camping conversion cars to mobile studio buses. GIIAS 2022 in ICE, BSD City managed to record over 15,000 car sales only from the top 5 exhibitors, Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, Daihatsu and Mitsubishi, which marks a promising increase of the country’s economy in general.
