The successful collaboration of Bank Indonesia and the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs as well as the Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) through the previous International Modest Fashion Festival (IN2MOTIONFEST) 2022 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) was attended by more than 5,000 offline as well as online participants.
Highlighting the theme “Local Product, Global Look”, the implementation of IN2MOTIONFEST as part of the 9th Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) was aimed to strengthening Indonesia’s modest fashion branding, introducing emerging designers and brands, as well as encouraging Muslim fashion businesses, both national and international.
The young talents was also given the platform for the best representatives from twelve fashion schools in Indonesia, namely Telkom University, SMKN 3 MALANG, Binus University International, Islamic Fashion Institute, ISWI Fashion Academy, Maranatha X Christian University Asia Pacific Rayon, BUNKA School of Fashion, InterStudy Design College, NU Banat Kudus Vocational School, ESMOD Jakarta, Jakarta Art Institute, and LPTB Susan Budihardjo Jakarta.
In the closing ceremony of IN2MOTIONFEST 2022, a fashion parade showcased collection of ready to wear deluxe and street wear categories from PHILLIP, LISA FITRIA, L by Laudya Cynthia Bella, KHANAAN, Rose.Ma.Lina x Sofie, Naara by Ariy Arka, Roemah Kebaya Vielga, sabin (member IKRA) X PALA Nusantara, and Shiroshima Indonesia (member of IKRA).
