Hilton Bandung hosted Stadthotel Freiburg & The Peak Connoisseur and other German Culinary teams held the event of a Wine Dinner experience at Fresco Restaurant by the pool. Master Chef Wolfgang Ecker from the StadtHotel Freiburg and Sous Chef Asep Ramdani from the Hilton Bandung collaborated together on Friday, November 25, 2022, to present and introduced the guests’ authentic German cuisine paired with the best 8 sets of different wines. Through these experiences, The Peak Sommelier offered a new insight into wines, food pairings, and best practices for serving wine.
The dining experience began at 18:30 Local Time (WIB) and celebrated with a semi-formal theme for the guests’ attire. There were a limited number of seats available for the public, as well as the German Ambassador and other guests from the media attending.
This event aimed to rediscover the true meaning of friendship and knowledge sharing while also being a gateway for the Locals to know more about German cuisine & exquisite wine through dining experiences. We expect this event can become a bridge for culinary culture exchange and be continued regularly in the future.
