Perched on the limestone cliffs of Ungasan, Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts, is inviting guests to welcome the Year of the Fire Horse with a two-day celebration that blends festive dining, cultural performances, wellness rituals, and art installations. Designed for reunion and renewal, the programme runs on 16–17 February 2026, offering families and friends a chance to gather around the reunion table, honour traditions, and embrace simple rituals of restoration.

The resort explained that Chinese New Year is one of the most meaningful times to come together, and the celebration has been shaped around the moments people remember most: sharing a table, honouring tradition, and starting the year feeling restored. The atmosphere is lively when it should be, and calm when guests need it. In collaboration with Indonesian design house Fuguku, Umana Bali presents a striking art installation inspired by the Fire Horse. Crafted from recycled plastic, the sculpture transforms waste into treasure, its flaming mane and muscular form symbolizing dynamism and ambition. Beneath its bold presence lies a fusion of craft and textile artistry, reflecting the resort’s Tri Hita Karana philosophy of harmony between people, nature, and spirituality. The installation was described as a living expression of renewal, cultural exchange, and shared energy—an emblem of the season’s spirit.

At Commune, Lunar New Year traditions are brought to life through family-style dining and the symbolic Yu Sheng ceremony, enriched by cultural performances across a two-day programme. On 16 February, guests can enjoy a festive Chinese New Year’s Eve Dinner, a Yu Sheng feast accompanied by a Barong Sai Lion Dance, live music, and a Wushu showcase. The following morning, a Special Chinese New Year’s Breakfast offers a curated spread of authentic dishes, complimentary for in-house guests and available to non-residents. The celebrations conclude on 17 February with a Chinese New Year’s Day Dinner, another Yu Sheng gathering enhanced by live band entertainment. The resort framed these meals not simply as dining occasions, but as cultural experiences designed to bring families together in joyous celebration.

Lohma Spa invites guests to begin the Year of the Fire Horse with rituals designed to balance body and spirit, combining facial care, bodywork, and gentle movement. On 16 February, the Lunar Ritual offers a 90‑minute experience that begins with an indigenous scrub or back massage before moving into an Elevate or Biomineral Facial, while Aqua Yoga at the Relaxation Pool provides a calming, water‑based session to ease tension and improve circulation. The following day, the Aromatic Journey welcomes prosperity and renewal through a 90‑minute massage infused with citrus oils. Together, these offerings create a restorative path into the new year, leaving guests both grounded and inspired.
Families with children can enjoy themed Kids Club activities, designed as keepsakes from the holiday. On 16 February, little ones can join Fire Horse Coloring (complimentary), while on 17 February they can take part in Prosperity Brush Paint Your Duck, a creative session priced per child.
The Umana Bali Lunar New Year 2026 celebration is more than a programme—it’s a curated journey of reunion, renewal, and inspiration. Guests are invited to feast, restore, and connect, whether through Yu Sheng dinners, spa rituals, or creative art encounters. For families, couples, and friends alike, the resort has designed a festive calendar that balances dynamism with calm, making the Year of the Fire Horse a stylish and memorable beginning.
