Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar invites its neighbors to experience a different expression of nightlife through VINYL Bar Takeover Vol. X, a collaborative edition that brings together two bars with distinct yet complementary identities: Dualism and Truce.
Hosted at VINYL, the hotel’s listening bar and speakeasy that celebrates music, flavor, and creative dialogue, this edition goes beyond the idea of a conventional bar takeover. VINYL Bar Takeover Vol. X is designed as a space for exploration—where sound, taste, and collaboration meet in an intimate and immersive setting. The night unfolds not as a performance, but as a conversation shaped by craft, atmosphere, and shared curiosity.

At VINYL, music is never treated as mere background. Carefully curated vinyl selections form the heartbeat of the space, setting a calm yet vibrant rhythm that allows conversations, cocktails, and moments to evolve organically. This listening bar concept lies at the core of VINYL’s identity and collaborative spirit, inviting bartenders, creators, and communities to explore new perspectives—not only in flavor, but also in how nightlife itself can be experienced.
For this tenth edition of the takeover series, Teresza, Head Bartender of Dualism, and Aldho Goenawan, Head of R&D at Truce, step behind the bar together, bringing their individual philosophies directly to the guest experience. Each represents the essence of their respective venues: Dualism with its clean, precise, and conceptual approach, and Truce with its warm, layered, and character-driven exploration of flavor. Rather than competing for attention, the collaboration is built on dialogue—two distinct perspectives meeting in harmony within the world of modern cocktails.
Four signature cocktails are created exclusively for the night, each reflecting the personality and creative language of the participating bars. From Dualism comes TATEMAE, a zesty and herbal creation highlighted by cool mint notes, offering a controlled balance between sweet and savory, as well as OCEANUS, a bright grapefruit-based cocktail accented by sharp botanicals and a subtle smoky aroma—light, sparkling, and expressive. Truce contributes Last Train Boulevardier, a warm and complex reinterpretation of the classic, layered with apple notes and finished with gentle smoke, alongside Golden Hour, a playful yet bold composition that brings together miso caramel, tropical fruits, and fresh citrus in a single, memorable glass.
As with previous editions, VINYL Bar Takeover Vol. X is curated as a complete nighttime experience. Cocktails are served in tandem with thoughtfully selected vinyl records, shaping an intimate speakeasy atmosphere where music sets the rhythm of the night and flavor becomes a medium for storytelling.
“VINYL Bar Takeover is a collaborative platform we continue to develop—not only to showcase bartenders, but also the perspectives, character, and stories behind each bar. We want VINYL to be a space for dialogue between flavor, music, and hospitality,” said Koco Widyatno, General Manager of VINYL.
Through consistent curation and meaningful cross-bar collaborations, VINYL continues to strengthen its position as a listening bar destination in Bandung, offering a distinctive nightlife experience that remains deeply connected to the city’s creative pulse.
