The St. Regis Jakarta presents a distinctive Korean-inspired afternoon tea experience through an exclusive collaboration with acclaimed pastry chef Eunjung Cho of Honeybee Seoul, complemented by a curated selection of contemporary Korean cakes that showcase her refined approach to modern patisserie.

Chef Eunjung Cho is widely recognised as one of Seoul’s leading pastry talents and the author of acclaimed titles including Cookies, Café Dessert Masterclass, and The Seasons Dessert. Since founding Honeybee Seoul in 2013, she has established Korea’s first “Café Dessert Master Class,” inspiring a new generation of pastry enthusiasts and professionals alike. In 2024, she further expanded her portfolio with the launches of Ouch and Touch, reinforcing her influence across the contemporary dessert landscape.

Chef Eunjung Cho and our Executive Pastry Chef Kevin Lee mark the collaboration with A Tale of Three Heritages Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Room, offering a thoughtfully curated afternoon tea experience that brings together culinary influences from France, Korea, Indonesia. Chef Kevin’s savouries reflect his French roots with Indonesian influences, while Chef Cho’s desserts, crafted using premium Valrhona chocolate and inspired by Seoul’s contemporary café culture, come together in a balanced and elegantly expressive afternoon experience.

Extending the collaboration, Rosé Gourmand Deli presents A Slice of Seoul, centred around Chef Cho’s beloved signature Bear Cake, a creation that embodies her distinctive balance of technical precision and playful creativity.

Available from 19 June to 31 July, the collaboration brings a touch of Korea to Jakarta, expressed through Chef Cho’s take on contemporary dessert culture.
