HENNESSY MYWAY 2026 INVITES INDONESIA’S BARTENDERS TO THE GLOBAL STAGE

Hennessy proudly reintroduces Hennessy MyWay 2026, the sixth edition of its global cocktail competition, calling on bartenders across Indonesia to stir, shake, and showcase their artistry on an international stage. More than a contest, MyWay is a creative playground—where sustainability meets storytelling, and ritual transforms into performance.

Indonesia’s bartending scene has already proven it can hold its own. In 2023, Rizky Ramdhani Razak claimed a spot in the Global Top 3 and took home the Most Sustainable Award. The following year, I Gusti Putu Agus Giri Asta repeated the feat, earning the Best Service Ritual Award. And just last year, Arya Dharmayasa cemented Indonesia’s reputation as a rising force, winning the Regional title. The momentum is undeniable: Indonesia is no longer just participating—it’s shaping the global conversation in mixology.

To spark inspiration and drive participation, Hennessy Indonesia rolled out a spirited series of activations across Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, and Bali, each blending education with celebration. The journey began at Dualism in Jakarta on 8 April, continued to BSMT in Bandung on 17 April, then moved east to Zeru at Padma Hotel Semarang on 24 April, before culminating at The Shady Pig Berawa in Bali on 26 April. Every stop paired masterclasses, where past winners shared their creative philosophies and global experiences, with guest shifts that turned local bars into vibrant showcases of Hennessy’s cocktail culture. 

The competition unfolds over several months, beginning with the submission deadline on 15 May 2026, followed by the announcement of Indonesia’s Top 10 bartenders on 1 June. From 15 June onwards, the judging panel will conduct physical evaluations to select the finalists, leading up to the Top 5 announcement on 15 July. The excitement culminates at the National Final on 13 August 2026, where one standout talent will earn the honor of representing Indonesia at the Global Final in France this October

Entrants must submit an original cocktail, paired with a video ritual serve. Judges will look for sustainability, drinkability, ritual presentation, product knowledge, and execution. From open call to national showdown, one bartender will ultimately carry Indonesia’s flag to France. For Hennessy, MyWay is a celebration of individuality and conscious craftsmanship. It’s an invitation for bartenders to push boundaries, share their stories, and elevate their craft to new heights.
