Celebrating the 73rd anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence Day, Plaza Indonesia launched the second edition of Indonesia Food & Art Festival, a series of programs dedicated to appreciate and conserve Indonesian dishes while also offering a creative space for artists. This year, Indonesia Food & Art Festival has two main activities: Cita Rasa Indonesia Feast and Energi Seni Fine Art Exhibition.

Cita Rasa Indonesia Feast is the result of collaboration between Plaza Indonesia and F&B outlets. The opening event on 2 August 2018 allowed visitors to taste special dishes by 13 F&B outlets served at Function Hall, including Betutu Duck by Bebek Bengil, Sauted Chicken with Dry Chilli in Mantau by Ita-Suki, Beef Sapo Rice by Soup Restaurant, Rendang Pao by Sari Ratu, Lamb Sawarma by Bistro Baron, Unyil Rice with Spicy Squid by Kafe Betawi and Almond Milk Tjendol by Hejo Hejo. An entrance fee was charged to be donated to Lions Club International for its various social activities.

The feast continues until 31 August in 53 F&B outlets. Look forward to more attractive promos such as Merdeka Package on 16-18 August and Asian Games Promo on 18 August – 2 September. Meanwhile, Energi Seni Fine Art Exhibition will open from 13-19 August 2018 at Function Hall. Dozens of artworks by Indonesian artists across generations will be on display alongside Art Talk on 14 August and Art Workshop on 15 August.

Other celebratory activities include Merdeka Day Competition with traditional games and food eating contest, Millenial Dopamine Art Corner from 3-31 August 2018 and Jakarta Rumahku 2018 Exhibition from 10-31 August 2018.

Plaza Indonesia also announced its cooperation with Bank DBS Indonesia. In line with the bank’s mission to “Live More, Bank Less”, the Shop and Get program allows an easy, simple and fast banking experience. Customers who shop with ANZ Credit Card, digibank, digibank Debit Card and DBS Debit Card might win Plaza Indonesia gift vouchers up to IDR 10 million.
