Thai Food Festival at Le Meridien Jakarta was launched on Monday, 1 October 2018, with a delightful spread of Thai delicacies specially prepared by Guest Chef Mama Duu from JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, Thailand.
The launching ceremony was officiated by General Manager of Le Meridien Jakarta, Mr. Kanit Sangmookda, and Deputy Chief of Mission from Royal Thai Embassy, Mrs. Jiraporn Sudanich, at La Brasserie Restaurant. Among the special guests at the grand launching event were Mrs. Busakorn Prommanot, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Mr. Weerawat Swasdibutra, General Manager Indonesia of Thai Airways.
Le Meridien Jakarta is hosting THAI FOOD FESTIVAL from 1 to 21 October 2018, offering guests the chance to experience the authentic taste of Thai cuisine, from fresh ingredients to sumptuous dishes with traditional cooking methods and innovative recipes.
Guest Chef Mama Duu of JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, Thailand, who is a master chef herself in Thai cuisines with more than 30 years of experience has flown in for the festival and brings the best of the exotic flavours to La Brasserie Restaurant.
THAI FOOD FESTIVAL features a selection of tempting offers, including an array of authentic and sumptuous Thai cuisine, such as Gaeng Kiew Wan Nua, Green Curry with Beef, Eggplant and Basil, Gaeng Karee Moo, Yellow Curry with Potatoes, as well as Sauteed Mixed Vegetables and the traditional Mango and Sticky Rice that you can find at Everyday Lunch & Dinner Buffet ; a unique culinary experience at One Night in Bangkok which is a celebration of the well-loved dishes that can be found on the streets of Bangkok ; and a live Thai-cooking demonstration by Guest Chef Mama Duu at Thai Cuisine Discovery.
