As a professional association of star-rated hotels and resorts in Bali, Bali Hotels Association (BHA) is dedicated to promoting the island as a quality destination for travelers from all walks of life. The association played an instrumental role in keeping Bali as the most desirable tourism destination in Asia through warmth and hospitality of its people. In doing so, it has brought together General Managers of hotels, villas and resorts to have a common voice on issues on tourism and hospitality industries as well as facilitate the development of Balinese community, education and environment initiatives.
Jean Hélière has been the General Manager of Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach since 2019 and an active member of BHA organizing its programs like the community relations and charity initiatives. His significant contribution to the association has helped and empower communities by carrying out and distributing donations as well as supports to orphanages and disability programs all over the island. Through his meaningful efforts and high dedication, then he has been appointed as the association’s new chairman.
On his new appointment as BHA's Chairman, Jean stated, “I am honored and humbled to be appointed as the Chairman of Bali Hotels Association. I am dedicated to keep working on the association’s efforts and initiatives to develop the communities around the island, especially through these difficult times. I am also committed to seek opportunities in making significant improvements in our efforts to promote our beloved paradise island as a safe destination by bringing together the local government, people and Bali’s strong tourism and hospitality industry players to ready ourselves in reopening the island.” He also adds that, “My role as the chairman of Bali Hotels Association will also bring great awareness to Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach as our hotel is also committed to not only offer a vibrant and unique experience to our guests but also to empower the local communities and our neighbourhood.”
