The introduction of the CX-8 marks Mazda’s commitment to keep innovating with the award winning and stylish KODO design, the latest technology in the engine department, and an impeccable driving experience.

Emphasizing the executive and luxury point of view, the new Mazda CX-8’s suave silhouette has been updated with a stylish new front grill design, 19-inch aluminum wheels, and roof rails. Its aesthetic has also been improved with a TAKUMI-NURI car painting technique which combines colors, highlights, shadows, and color depth, resulting in the accentuation of Mazda’s dynamic KODO bodywork design.

The CX-8 is powered by an In-line, 4-cylinder DOHC 16 valve SKYACTIV-G 2.5 engine with 6-speed automatic drivetrain resulting in 190bhp maximum engine output. Mazda’s human-centric engineering has equipped the New Mazda CX-8 with the G-VECTORING CONTROL PLUS (GVC Plus) System which supports the driver in maintaining handling especially during lane changing and extreme weather conditions as well as during emergencies such as swerving to avoid collision. The system also works in tandem with Mazda’s Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning System combined with Lane-Keep Assist System that can detect road markings as well as Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) that keeps nearby vehicles in check.

The restful cabin area is equipped with fully electric Captain Seats in the second row, lined with Nappa Leather and lavished with a Center Console to control the seat ventilation system. For entertainment, the New Mazda CX-8 is equipped with a premium BOSE audio system, Mazda Connect which enables wireless connection with a smartphone while driving and Smartphone Wireless Integration – an integrated system feature that allows drivers to control their cellphones from the central display, as well as wireless charging (Qi).
