Oakwood Premier Cozmo Jakarta marked the festive season with a heartwarming celebration alongside children from SOS Children’s Villages. The event brought together in-house guests, media partners, and associates in a spirit of joy, creativity, and generosity.
The celebration began at Oakroom Restaurant, where associates welcomed the children with a cheerful performance before joining them in interactive games and a sustainability-themed craft session. Guests and children created ornaments from repurposed materials such as tissue cores, coffee grounds transformed into resin pieces, and naturally sourced pinecones. The activities encouraged teamwork, creativity, and environmental awareness while keeping the festive mood alive.
As evening approached, the children filled the lobby with a heartfelt Christmas carol performance that warmly greeted arriving guests and created a festive atmosphere. Following the performance, Oakwood Premier Cozmo Jakarta’s management team presented contributions to SOS Children’s Villages, including financial support for education, daily essentials, and items donated by in-house guests. A Christmas tree adorned with the handmade ornaments was also gifted, symbolizing the shared spirit of giving.
The Executive Assistant Manager, Arlene Suroso, explained that Christmas is about family, home, love, and joy, and that as a home away from home for guests, Oakwood Premier Cozmo Jakarta wanted to extend that same warmth to the children of SOS Children’s Villages. The evening concluded with a shared dinner and prayer session, where each child received a special Christmas goodie bag — ending the celebration with smiles, gratitude, and lasting memories.
