The festive spirit of the season came alive at Somerset Berlian Jakarta as the property once again hosted its signature bazaar, Pasar Sabtu Vol. 3 “Christmas Market”. Held on Saturday, December 13 from 9 AM to 5 PM, the event transformed both the function room and lobby into vibrant spaces filled with local creativity and holiday cheer.
Think of Pasar Sabtu Vol. 3 as more than just a market—it was a weekend destination where shopping met storytelling, and where every purchase carried the warmth of Indonesian culture. This third edition of Pasar Sabtu featured 15 carefully selected small and medium enterprises (UMKM), from artisanal pottery to handcrafted chocolates, visitors didn’t just take home goods; they carried pieces of heritage and creativity. The Christmas Market became a reminder that holiday celebrations can be both joyful and meaningful when rooted in community and local pride. The bazaar reflected Somerset Berlian Jakarta’s ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses and giving them greater visibility in the community.
Adding a special touch, two brands from Yogyakarta—Batik Pottery and Cokelat Monnier—joined the lineup. Their presence brought unique stories and distinctive products to the Christmas Market. The founder of Batik Pottery shared that distance was never a barrier when participating in such a joyful bazaar. She emphasized that beyond selling items, she was also sharing the stories behind each creation, making the products feel more valuable than their price tags alone.
With its cozy and festive concept, Pasar Sabtu Vol. 3 was designed to foster collaboration between local entrepreneurs and the wider public. Visitors were invited to enjoy not just shopping, but also the sense of community and celebration that comes with the holiday season. The event aimed to inspire more people to appreciate and support Indonesian-made products. Somerset Berlian Jakarta encouraged everyone to take part in celebrating the richness of local culture and craftsmanship. The General Manager, Handrian Wijaya, highlighted that supporting local products helps strengthen the economy and creates sustainable opportunities for entrepreneurs.
