Savyavasa, the premium residential collaboration between PT Jakarta Setiabudi International Tbk. (JSI Group) and Swire Properties, proudly announces an exclusive partnership with renowned Indonesian artist Teguh Ostenrik.

This collaboration introduces two monumental sculptures – Song of the Flow and Dance with the Wind – seamlessly integrated into the landscape of Savyavasa. Inspired by earth, water, and air, the works embody the philosophy “Crafted in Harmony, Perfected by Nature”, enriching the living experience for residents.

For nearly five decades, Teguh Ostenrik has used art to champion environmental awareness. Founder of Yayasan Terumbu Rupa, he pioneered coral reef restoration through sculpture. His MFA from Hochschule der Künste Berlin shaped a distinctive style that fuses European technique with Indonesian sensibility, creating works that resonate globally while rooted locally.

Song of the Flow at Tower 1

The collaboration is embodied in two monumental works that anchor Savyavasa’s towers with a sense of harmony and movement. Song of the Flow, located in Tower 1, rises as a five‑meter corten steel ribbon whose gentle curves invite a moment of calm reflection. By day its surface captures and softly reflects light, while at dusk the deepening patina radiates warmth, blending seamlessly with the surrounding water and landscape. In Tower 2, Dance with the Wind presents three curved steel planes arranged like fabric caught in a breeze. The composition conveys restrained elegance and a sense of suspended motion, encouraging residents and visitors to walk around the piece and discover their own rhythm in dialogue with nature. Together, these sculptures embody Savyavasa’s philosophy of luxury intertwined with craftsmanship and the natural environment, transforming art into an integral part of daily living.

Teguh Ostenrik expressed that for him, art serves as a bridge between tradition and modernity. He shared that his vision is to create forms that do not impose meaning but invite interpretation, producing works that breathe with their surroundings and inspire people to connect with nature’s rhythm every day.

Chandra Asali, Director of JSI Group and President Director of PT Jantra Swarna Dipta, explained that the company’s vision has always been rooted in elevating urban living while balancing craftsmanship, nature, and sustainability. He emphasized that the collaboration with Teguh Ostenrik represents a tangible realization of this vision, bringing cultural value while promoting responsible development. Sophie Watson‑Swingewood, Vice President Director of PT Jantra Swarna Dipta and Swire Properties Indonesia, highlighted that the collaboration with Teguh Ostenrik enriches this philosophy, as each artwork is designed with care, personalized, and integrated into the environment to enhance residents’ daily experiences.
