
Art Jakarta Gardens 2026 is returning to Hutan Kota by Plataran, Jakarta from May 5–10, 2026. Now in its fifth edition, this annual event offers a unique outdoor art experience by integrating indoor and outdoor presentations.


Highlights:
- Galleries: The event will host 26 galleries from Indonesia and across Asia, exhibiting works within two main tents.
- Sculpture Garden: A signature segment featuring over 30 sculptures by renowned Indonesian artists such as Sunaryo, Nyoman Nuarta, and Tisna Sanjaya, set within the Hutan Kota landscape.
Public Programming
The event features a dynamic range of public activities to enrich the artistic experience:
- Music: Performances curated by Plainsong Live and presented by Bakti Budaya Djarum Foundation, featuring artists like Ali, The Cottons, and Batavia Collective.
- Performance Art: Includes works by Sarita Ibnoe, Agus Nur Amal PM Toh, and the Swargaloka group.
- Discussions & Tours: The program includes interactive sessions for the creative community and guided tours led by professional curators.
Partners and Special Presentations
- Bibit: Collaborates with artist Mulyana to present “Tentacles of Wealth,” an installation using knitted octopus characters to reflect on investment journeys.
- BCA: Offers exclusive benefits, including ticket discounts, cashback, and zero-percent installment plans for attendees.
- Main Partners:
- iForte Energi: Presents “Solagua,” a solar-powered water installation by designer Sigit D. Pratama.
- TACO: Designed the ticket box and provided HPL bases for the Sculpture Garden, while also hosting recycling workshops.
- LUAR: Provides modern, weather-resistant exterior furniture and umbrellas to enhance visitor comfort.
