UNBOUND: Resonating Light, a two-artist exhibition featuring photographer Diane Tuft and sculptor-jeweller Allyson Jeong, on display from April 24 to May 29, 2026 at NODE by ISA Art and Design, Jakarta.

For the first time, Tuft’s large-format photographs—shot around the world and documenting landscape changes driven by climate change—are presented alongside Jeong’s large-scale, craft-driven metal sculptures handmade in Seoul. Together, they create a sustained dialogue between the microscopic tensions of material and the planetary-scale effects of environmental change.
The exhibition explores “Material Memory”—how environments and objects retain traces of past forces. Tuft’s images reveal landscapes marked by receding water, where salts and minerals record the passage of time on a geological scale. In contrast, Jeong’s sculptures register human labor and energy in metal, bearing tactile evidence of digging, refinement, and touch. Together, the works expose invisible histories embedded in matter, connected through a shared logic of imprint and residue.

Tuft’s primary artistic motif is the natural world, approached as a dynamic, living, fragile, and ever-changing entity. Her evocative landscapes, coastal vistas, and abstractions not only showcase her mastery as an artist but also serve as portals into environments under threat from the severe effects of climate change. Beneath their striking visual appeal lies a critical narrative on the enduring tension between mankind and nature.
Images of glistening glaciers, meandering rivers, and distinct geological formations reveal a world increasingly burdened by environmental and scientific crises. Global warming continues to disrupt ecosystems—raising sea levels, drying lakes, erasing coastal communities, and accelerating glacial melt. Through this body of work, Tuft challenges perceptions of reality, urging audiences to confront the profound and often unimaginable consequences of climate change.
Meanwhile, Allyson Jeong’s practice explores the organic relationship between the human body and the spaces it inhabits. For Jeong, materiality extends beyond medium, functioning as a visual language that expresses the flow of invisible energy while recording the intersection between inner consciousness and the external world.
