Closing the year with warmth and meaning, The Gaia Hotel Bandung presents a festive season filled with joy and reflection. This year’s celebrations carry two themes: “Gifts of Christmas”, celebrating hope and cheer, and “The Best of Us”, a reflection on the year’s journey and an invitation to welcome 2026 with renewed spirit.

The festivities began with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in the hotel lobby, accompanied by performances from the Resident Choir, Laurentius Symphony Orchestra, Firefly Dance, and the appearance of Santa Claus. Throughout December, weekend activities brought the holiday spirit alive with choirs, flash mobs, and children’s programs at the Kids Cads Play Studio, culminating in a Christmas Concert on December 20 featuring the Maranatha Christian University Choir.

Culinary experiences are at the heart of the celebrations. Semeja Asian Kitchen and Monomono Bar & Social Dining present festive menus highlighting both tradition and innovation. Semeja offers buffet dinners on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, alongside a Christmas Day lunch, featuring classics such as Roast Turkey, Prime Brisket, Salmon En-Croute, Leg of Lamb, and desserts like Yule Log Cake, Stollen, and Panettone. Prices are set at IDR 350,000 nett per person for lunch and IDR 450,000 nett per person for dinner. Monomono, meanwhile, brings a Nikkei-inspired fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavors, with a 6-course set dinner at IDR 650,000 nett per person and a 5-course lunch at IDR 495,000 nett per person.

On New Year’s Eve, the hotel embraces the theme “The Best of Us” with Semeja Asian Kitchen’s all-you-can-eat buffet “The Best of Asia”. Guests can savor iconic rice dishes such as Korean Bibimbap, Claypot Rice, and Lamb Biryani, alongside skewers from across Asia including Xinjiang Rou Chuan, Japanese Yakitori, and Chicken Tikka. The spread continues with roasted selections, fresh seafood, sustainability-focused salads, and wok favorites, available at IDR 985,000 nett per person. For a more intimate setting, Monomono offers a 6-course New Year’s Eve dinner accompanied by the Guernica Quartet, priced at IDR 1,195,000 nett per person.

As midnight approaches, the Edelweiss Ballroom transforms into a lively countdown venue with games, door prizes, and a performance by Shaky Town Band. The highlight of the evening is a special performance by Andien, leading into the countdown and followed by The Gaia Hotel Bandung’s iconic fireworks display — the largest in the city, lighting up the night sky in a dazzling spectacle awaited by guests each year.

Guests can enjoy the full festive experience through the Festive Room Package, starting from IDR 9,680,000 nett for two nights, inclusive of breakfast, New Year’s Eve dinner, and access to the countdown party for two. For reservations and inquiries, contact +62 811 2020 0500.
