After the success of its first hotel in Indonesia, 7 Days Premium Jatinegara Jakarta, Plateno Group continues to expand with The Eastern LAVANDE Bojonegoro. Partnering with PT Graha Persada International, the 4-star hotel is expected to welcome its first guest in Q3 2019 with signature lavender sensory experience, relaxing atmosphere and comfortable stay.

The Eastern LAVANDE Bojonegoro will feature 112 rooms and suites, ballroom for up to 200 persons, auxiliary meeting rooms, all-day dining café, upscale bar and lounge, outdoor infinity swimming pool, well-equipped gym and spa center. It will cater to both business and leisure travelers. Previously renowned as a major producer of teak and tobacco, Bojonegoro is in the midst of a mini economic boom following the discovery of major new oil fields. Situated between Jogja and Surabaya, its close location with Solo-Ngawi toll road makes it an attractive transit destination for travelers.

The introduction of LAVANDE to the Indonesian market is part of Plateno Group long-term multi-brand strategy, which is based on a two-pronged principal: light asset and glocalization. The light asset principle means that franchise management is the main focus. Plateno Group partners can save nearly 30% of hotel operating cost, 50% of hotel construction cost and enjoy extra benefit from the significant brand effect. The glocalization principle is rooted from the customer-centric strategy, and reflects Plateno Groups effort to respect the local market and listen to its needs, while adhering to global standards in the key parts of the hotel, to ensure the quality of the product. Strategically cooperated with Jinjiang group in 2015, Plateno and Jinjiang Group is currently the second largest International hotel group in the world. The group now has than 100 million members and over 5,500 hotels across 470 destinations.

In the future, Plateno Group also plans to bring other brands into Indonesia, including Barcelo Hotels & Resorts with its five star getaway concept, James Joyce Coffetel that combines hotel, cafe and library, along with Chonpines Hotel that focuses on business travel with distinctive city features.
