The Australian pasta brand, San Remo, successfully sets the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) record in celebration of World Pasta Day. This record was successfully broken by San Remo’s achievement of holding a virtual pasta cooking event with  more than 1,500 participants simultaneously. This record has officially made San Remo the first  pasta brand that managed to post the highest number of participants from more than 30 cities  from all over Indonesia.

The pasta cooking event with the highest number of participants was divided into two arrangements, with more than 1,500 participants joining virtually via the video chat application Zoom. Meanwhile, 20 selected participants cooked pasta directly in the West Jakarta area  following strict health protocols. The entire arrangements were broadcast live through San  Remo’s social media accounts.

This virtual pasta cooking event was also attended by two famous celebrity chefs, Chef Marinka  and Chef Martin Praja. Both of them gave direct assessments of the participants’ dishes and  gave practical tips in processing pasta into various creations of Western and Asian dishes. It  posted more than 50 dishes successfully made by all participants in the cooking event which took  place for 1 hour.

Each participant who took part in this cooking event was provided with a San Remo hamper box consisting of 1 pack of long pasta, 1 pack of short pasta, 1 pasta sauce, and equipped with an  apron. All pasta served is premium pasta made using 100% durum wheat with the best quality.

As one of the best pasta brands that have been around since 1936, San Remo continues to give  inspiration in cooking five-star cuisine with tasty and easy creations. These recipes can be read  on San Remo Indonesia’s Youtube and Cookpad channels.
