Bekasi’s eastern corridor has welcomed a new landmark with the opening of ARTOTEL Living World Grand Wisata Bekasi, a boutique hotel that blends art, lifestyle, and convenience. Officially launched through a ceremonial signing attended by executives from Kawan Lama Group, Sinar Mas Land, and Artotel Group, the property marks the second collaboration between the three companies.
Seamlessly integrated with the Living World Grand Wisata shopping mall, the hotel positions itself as a destination where guests can shop, dine, enjoy entertainment, and rest—all without leaving the complex. The design emphasizes modern comfort while weaving in artistic elements that set it apart from conventional hospitality offerings.
Theresia Setiadjaja of Kawan Lama Group explained that the hotel was conceived to support the vision of PT Sahabat Duta Wisata, the joint venture between Kawan Lama Group and Sinar Mas Land. She noted that the boutique hotel, managed by Artotel Group, enhances the integrated lifestyle concept by offering visitors a complete experience, whether for business or family leisure.

The property spans 13 floors with 216 artistic rooms across three categories—Studio 24, Studio 36, and Studio 50—catering to both business travelers and holidaymakers. Facilities include CLOVEN All Day Dining, a swimming pool, fitness center, and ARTSPACE, Bekasi’s first integrated art gallery. The gallery, launched in collaboration with Kendy’s Gallery, currently features abstract works by Sandy Tisa and will continue to showcase emerging Indonesian artists as part of Artotel’s commitment to the creative community.
Prasetijo Tanumihardja of Sinar Mas Land highlighted that the hotel reflects the company’s strategy of creating destinations with lasting appeal. He emphasized that the integration with Living World Grand Wisata strengthens the ecosystem, increasing visitor traffic and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Designed with versatility in mind, the hotel also supports MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) needs. A Grand Ballroom accommodating up to 700 guests and seven meeting rooms with a combined capacity of 350 make it a hub for both corporate and social events in East Bekasi.
Eduard Rudolf Pangkerego, COO of Artotel Group, described the opening as a continuation of the group’s mission to deliver hotels that resonate with contemporary urban lifestyles. He expressed confidence that the collaboration would add value to Grand Wisata Bekasi, positioning the hotel not only as a place to stay but also as a center for creativity and community interaction.
Strategically located, ARTOTEL Living World Grand Wisata Bekasi is easily accessible via the Tambun Toll Gate (KM 21) on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road and the Setu Utara Toll Gate (KM 26) on the Cimanggis–Cibitung Toll Road. Guests can reach Jakarta in 15 minutes, Bekasi Timur LRT Station in 25 minutes, the KCIC high-speed rail station at Halim in 25 minutes, and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in about 30 minutes.
With its artistic flair, integrated lifestyle concept, and comprehensive facilities, ARTOTEL Living World Grand Wisata Bekasi is poised to become a new icon for hospitality and modern living in East Bekasi.
