Social House, supported by Miele, has held a series of cooking class over the years featuring a number of notable chefs in Jakarta. Just recently, Social House Cooking Class Series rolled out a cooking class for couple featuring Sandra Djohan, the Executive Chef of Epilogue restaurant. Any couple could join with participation fee of a mere Rp 800,000++/couple inclusive of light snacks and drinks, apron, a recipe book and certificate. It’s a good deal indeed.
On the D-Day, three couples showed up for the class. With regard to the cooking theme: “Modern French Cuisine” -a particular type of cooking that Chef Sandra has been so passionate about, class participants were entitled to learn to make three modern French delicacies including savory choux, Grand Marnier Soufflé and steak. It was a great day at the kitchen for the couples. What can be more fun than making a good team in the kitchen while learning to cook?
